2. CAN I STILL USE WINDOWS XP IN 2020?

If you have a PC running Windows 7 or Windows XP, you can use it on January 15, 2020, just as you could on January 13, 2020.

If you do keep using this operating system, it’s now especially important that you have security software (like an antivirus) installed and take steps to secure your PC.

Windows XP:-

Windows XP is an operating system produced by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. It was the successor to both Windows 2000 for professional users and Windows Me for home users. It was released to manufacturing on August 24, 2001, and broadly released for retail sale on October 25, 2001.

Windows 7:-

Windows 7 is an operating system that was produced by Microsoft and released as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. It was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and became generally available on October 22, that year. It is the successor to Windows Vista, released two years prior.

Windows NT

Windows NT is a family of operating systems produced by Microsoft, the first version of which was released on July 27, 1993. It is a processor-independent, multiprocessing and multi-user operating system. The first version of Windows NT was Windows NT 3.1 and was produced for workstations and server computers.

Windows VISTA:-

Windows Vista is an operating system that was produced by Microsoft and is a version of the Windows NT family of operating systems for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs.
